Let’s say you want to share a specific Google video that you’ve created, but you don’t want viewers to download a copy. Or maybe you have a file that you don’t want viewers to print or to make a copy for their use. Look at the Advanced Sharing features in Google Drive for the option to make these restrictions.
How do I view the Advanced Sharing settings?
From Drive:
- “Select” your file
- Right-click (control-click) to get the contextual menu and select “Share.”
Or, click on the “Share” icon in the menu bar.
- The “Share with others” box appears. Click on “Advanced”
- The Advanced settings will appear. At the bottom of the options are the options to disable download, print and copy.
